Birth Control.... Pregnancy.... Risk....?

I just started birth control on Dec. 24th. On the 25th, twice on the 26th, and on the 27th again I had sex and (pardon me) but my fiance came in me.

Just say I'm pregnant... will me still being on birth control effect my ';baby'; in any way? And will I be able to feel pregnancy symptoms while on birth control if i am pregnant?Birth Control.... Pregnancy.... Risk....?
ok. you havn't been on bc long enough for it to fully get into your system. to be on the safe side, you should always use protection for the 1st month when starting bc. i got pregnant on the pill and continued taking it until i realized that my period was late. it shouldn't cause and harm to the ';baby.'; Yes it can cause major harm if you continue taking the pill for months, but a few weeks to a month, probably wont do anything. call you doctor to be on the safe side. I didn't stop and my daughter turned out perfectly healthy. good luck!!Birth Control.... Pregnancy.... Risk....?
hmmmmm.... that's a difficult situation! I'm not really sure how soon you would know if you are prego, but definetly call the place you got the bc from and ask. It sounds like you're worried about it and you don't want to do the wrong thing. I'm not sure if it would affect the baby, but most bc pills say ';Do not take if you think you are or may become pregnant';.

If it were me, I would Stop the pill Asap, call the dr and follow advice, wait several weeks and use condoms for the mean time. (I know, they suck, but you gotta if you stop the pill!), and then you can always start the pill again the next month.

Good luck and I hope all works out!
yes you will feel pregnancy symptoms while on the pill, i got preg with my son on the pill and realized it, some doctors said the pill can't hurt the child while others don't but as soon as i found out i stopped taking the pill, i would consider the morning after pill if you should not want to get pregnant, since the pill doesn't protect you 100% of the time and there is a chance you can get pregnant and the pill won't stop it, and cosidering you just started it, that's not enough time for it to be completly in your system, good luck ;D
There is actually a big chance you are IF it would be when you would be most likely. (mid periods) Although, everyones body works different.

They say you should wait a week, but thats because if they said any sooner, there would be a percentage of people who's body wouldn't be ready.

I went through the same thing, and I wasn't pregnant.

It depends. If its the birth control that eliminates the period, than you should get off it. But, if it gives you a regular period, you can wait.

(vote for me for best and good luck!!!)
it is possible to be pregnant that way

.yes it would affect the development of ur baby and the thing to do is to consult a qualified doctor .one site I find very useful for medical stuff is www.mayoclinic.com
birth control can definately cause problems in a pregnancy... All women get symptoms differently when pregnant.. i would recommend not taking your pill until you found out if you were pregnant..if you are not wanting to have a child right now i would use protection during that time. good luck :)
well i'm pretty sure that you have to take for a certain amount of time for it to be effective.
I think you should consult your doctor to get the correct answer. To get pregnant you have to be in your ovulating days. This can be determined by counting from the first day of your heavy flow of your last period. It usually is 14 days from then I think. I did have a friend who didn't know she was pregnant and started birth control and she did miscarry. I didn't pry her to know the exact cause but the way she talked it seemed to be the pills. Take care.
I got pregnant on the pill after taking it for 6 years, every single day. I took the pill for 5 weeks into my pregnancy, and stopped the day I got my positive test. So far, I'm having an excellent pregnancy...I'm 17 weeks. I was told by my doctor that the pill doesn't do any damage, and can not cause miscarriage on it's own.

It's very very possible for you to get pregnant if you used no other protection during the first month of using the pill.
If you think you are pregnant, stop taking birth control and take a pregnancy test. Birth control takes a while to kick in when it comes to periods so you might not have pregnancy symptoms. Because you just started taking them you are bound to have bleeding the first few months. The point being however, is that you should stop taking birth control if you think you are pregnant. Wait and see. It WILL affect the baby. Be Safe and best wishes!
if you think you have even the slightest chance of being preg you need to STOP birth control ASAP because it can cause major physical and mental deformations in the baby.
