Whats the risk of pregnancy if I took birth control pill 4 days ago?

If I started birth control on Monday (monday night) my first dose and I just had sex last night without the condom..is there any risk of pregnancy..my doctor didn't tell me how long you gotta be on it before unprotected sex but now im reading places that you should have it for at least 7 days. On top of that..on monday before I took my first pill i had sex where the condom broke so I got the morning after pill..will that make the pill ineffective?Whats the risk of pregnancy if I took birth control pill 4 days ago?
No, plan b does not make the pill ineffective. In fact, you may want to contact your doctor to see if it's in order that you take it again.





You need to wait 7 days to have full protection with your birth control. No more, no less. Some doctors obviously tell patients more, but usuallt this is to make sure they take their pill on time %26amp; just get use to having the responsibility. The maxium amount it takes the pill to actually be effective is 7 days, all pack info say this %26amp; the makers of the pill have to give true information.

My doc told me I should take the pill for up to two months first to be on the safe side.
is this your first pack. my doc told me to use a condom the first pack. and then after that you are safe.I would start to use a condom if i was u just till you start a differnet pack just to be safe.
there is a big chance of pregnancy..especially since you didn't at least use your first pack yet..be careful
You really have to be on birth control for at least 7 days. It needs to build up in your system before its effective. If you got the morning after pill though, your chances decrease dramatically. Theres still a small possibility. When it comes to pregnancy theres always a chance. But no, your birth control won't make the morning pill any less effective. Good luck.
you need to be on the pill for 7 days before your protected, but even with the pill you can still get pregnant. i got pregnant on the pill and i'm now almost 3 months pregnant.
