That is not true about pills not causing ovarian cancer. I think some actually do cause ovarian cancer since my adoptive mother got ovarian cancer when she was on the pill.

There is always a chance of pregnancy while on birthcontrol (even getting tubes tied isn't 100%) and condoms can break, leak and fall off so the only 100% way of not getting pregnant is NO SEX of Hystorectomy for the woman. Other than that there is always atleast a slim chance of something happening.

Safe pills are hard to say, it really depends on the pill and the person taking it. Many people have different reactions; it can really unbalance a person hormoneally, where others the complete opposite. Trial and error. You don't know how it will effect you till you try it.
there is always that 1% that you can be but you shouldnt worry your self but you sould always use protection to protect stds
