Are there any risks to taking birth control before you are done with puberty/growing?

Can it stunt your growth if you take it too soon, or anything like that?





I want birth control for mensuration reasons, nothing else. I'm 16, but I was a ';late bloomer'; and had my first period when I was about 14 and half.Are there any risks to taking birth control before you are done with puberty/growing?
not really, many girls do it at your age...but just make sure u know what ur doing with sex though...
