Birth control pill vs the health risks?

why do women risk their own health to prevent haveing a baby, i can understand some situations but i do not think all the women that are on the pill are realy taking it because they NEED to. if anyone has seen the mad tv skit on the birth control pill i think they used yaz in the skit this is the kind of thing i am refuring to. i know it wont literaly do that to your body but you risk an awefull lot on your health when you take the pill, why do women take it anyway?? there might be something i am missing.Birth control pill vs the health risks?
people take the pill because even though there is a risk of these thing happening its very low. it better to take the chance than for someone to have a baby that they cant afford to take care of or not ready or willing to take care ofBirth control pill vs the health risks?
the risk is very, vey small. Side effects from taking the pill are rare, and happen to an extremely small percentage of women. There is actually more risk to a womans life while pregnant or dleivering a baby than there is while on the pill.
i wud think that the best answer for this is that it depends on each individual.............unless u have spent the time walking in another person's shoes, u DON'T know what is best for their situation. it DEFINATELY is better than sum other methods that younger girls/women use.....and is far less harmful in the longrun!!!!!!!!!!!
