HELP!!!!!! SPYWARE control is there any thing i can do 2 have a COMPLETE REMOVAL of spyware my com is at risk?

If you are getting messages to install a adware program, don't accept it or do it, it might be a virus that is fake and it's trying to install something else.

Make sure to have a Firewall installed soon and some of these programs below. NEVER, accept anything else that you don't know what it is.

This is what I do to protect my computer:

%26gt; Scan your computer for spyware/adware using a FREE software from Microsoft called Windows Defender: http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security鈥?/a>

%26gt; You can download a FREE antivirus software:

To ensure maximum safety and ENTIRE removal of malicious software, few steps:

1- buy and use a decent anti-virus

2- format the computer

3- restore your computer using windows xp or a backup/restore cd

4- finally set a restore point after you set up everything so you dont have to do steps 1,2, and 3 again :-)

Micosoft Defender Micosoft.com
panda security (available at staples, not sure where else) did wonders as an anti-virus and anti-spyware program for us. it updates daily as well. we had severe failures with both norton and mcaffee, but we've now had panda for 2 years and never a problem.... www.pandasoftware.com and be aware that some of the free spyware systems online actually insert their own spyware (learned that the hard way)
Get Lavasoft Adaware (www.lavasoft.com)

Get Spybot S%26amp;D (http://www.spybot.info/en/home/index.htm鈥?/a>

Run full scans using both problems (may need to run Adaware a few times to catch everything.)

That should do the trick. Keep in mind that if you have any programs that are spyware dependant (most p2p programs) then they will stop working when the spyware is removed.
All the programs listed above, make sure you UPDATE them first before running them. In addition to the advise above, run them in ';safe mode';. Do this by restarting your computer, when your computer is starting tap the ';F8'; key a few times until it gives you the choice to start in safe mode, then run all the anti-spyware programs. Let the programs completely finish their scanning, then trash what ever they find. For help from future problems make sure you are not using Internet Explorer and visiting porn, gambling sites, myspace and other risky sites. To browse the internet make sure you are using either Firefox or Opera to lessen the chances of this happening again.

Good Luck
