Seriously, you need both. You can go get the pill on your own, just make an appointment and tell them you wan't it kept confidential, then they can't mention it to your parents.
If you're going to have sex, you should be on the pill. It'll take 7 days for it to kick into action, so tell your guy to wait until then, and you have to wait for your period to start before you can start taking it (you usually start on the day your period starts, but check the instructions first since all pills are different). Also, getting your boyfriend to pull out is NOT effective birth control, so don't listen to anyone who says to just do this. dont have sex until you are ready for one thing, and you should probably wait until you are married or in a serious relationship, STD are becoming WAY too prevelant now.
if you really think you must, use a condom DEFINATELY, just be sure that you know who you are having sex with because technically, if you have sex with him, you have to accept that you are ';having sex'; with every person he has had sex with also.
be sure that you can trust him because in a few months you could look back and it will be too late!
Definetly a condom. It's not just pregancy you want to avoid but all sorts of nasty diseases that will stay with you for life. Just tell the boys that ';if it's not on - then it's not on';.
