What percent of women go on birth control? and how much does it decrease your pregnancy risk?

If taken correctly which most woman don't it's about 98% effective. I've been on it for over 8yrs and have not became pregnant.What percent of women go on birth control? and how much does it decrease your pregnancy risk?
Birth control pills are 99.9% effective when taken properly.





I have no idea how many women use them.. Based on the number of unwanted pregnancies, obviously not enough...What percent of women go on birth control? and how much does it decrease your pregnancy risk?
I was on them for 10 years and never had a scare came off them in september and am now 8 weeks pregnant tommorrow
