Will taking an extra birth control pill after you have sex help reduce the risk of pregnancy?

The reason I think this is true is because if you miss a pill one day they say it is ok to take two the next day. Also, the plan B birth control is nothing more than a really high dose of regular birth control pills. Thus it should be concluded that if you have extra pills around, it would help to take an extra pill the day after sex? no it wont help at all! they tell you its ok to take another dose that day to keep the hormone levels in the body some what the same since u missed one...and higher dose birth control does the same thing they are designed to keep hormones at a certain level...which can prevent pregnancy that the only thing...so taking more pills wont help reduce the risk even more ...the possibility of getting pregnant would still be in that 1% chance on the pill more pills or notWill taking an extra birth control pill after you have sex help reduce the risk of pregnancy?
missing a pill isn't necessarily a good thing, they just tell you to take it two the next day because you missed it, but that doesn't make it more effective. The only way for your birth control to be most effective, is to take it at the SAME TIME everyday.
well why would you have extra pills around and no they give you like 28 pills for a reason, you are only supposed to take one a day, the only reason you take two in one day when you miss it is to make up for the day you missed obviously. anyway thats not how it works
no i will stay on my regular schedule and take them when they were originally supposed to be taken . the only thing you can do is to use protection
No, that's really not the same.
