Birth control pills are 99% effective. For me personally birth control is making it to my due date. In 1981 I was told I could not have children. In 1986 I had my first and I was on the pill and I had my 2nd in 1989 again while on the pill and also using a condom. Things happen.
The pill is very effective, but like someone else said earlier, use 2 forms. That way if one fails, you'll have a back up.
when u use the pill correctly it is about 99% effective. Condoms are 97% effective. But as lots of mothers will attest, its still possible to get pregnant on the pill. If u want the optimum chance of not getting pregnant it's best to use condoms also.
